UNAM Chicago

An unforgettable experience was the result of our Second International Colloquium: Sacred Spaces organized by UNAM Chicago in collaboration with the University of Chicago and UNAM´s Institute of Aesthetic Research in Oaxaca and the Newberry Library. The two-day event gathered more than twenty researchers, from art historians to archaeologists and historians of religion, all seeking to foster interdisciplinary and comparative conversations while building stronger ties between American and Mexican institutions. You can find all the panels in UNAM Chicago´s YouTube Channel.

“It is wonderful to see how collaboration and dialogue between researchers from diverse disciplines and countries can generate such a valuable exchange of ideas. The International Colloquium ‘Sacred Spaces’ was a resounding success.”
